Description
Enter a landscape of soft-spoken presence!
Soul-baring authenticity reaches out to us from a distant Arctic land. Five women from Nunavik tell their stories. Their thoughts are those of young people longing for self-realization, looking to the future, engaging with their native North and the siren of the South. Their voices embrace three languages in an innovative theatrical form that blends community radio, documentary theatre and intimate conversation. You will discover a people, sense true presence and experience aalaapi. The word means “to be silent so beauty can be heard.”
