Description
Os weaves together a mosaic of five lives destined to intersect. A queer couple awaits their first child, carried forward by the fragile momentum of new beginnings. In China, a bone marrow donor makes a gesture of radical generosity. A thanadoula accompanies life’s final moments, offering presence and tenderness at the threshold of death. An elder living with Alzheimer’s feels his memory gradually begin to fracture.
Unexpectedly, their paths intertwine. Each becomes the bone, the joint, or the fracture in another’s life, leaving a lasting mark — for better or for worse.
Blending physical theatre, poetry, puppetry, and projections, this new creation by Vincent Leblanc-Beaudoin unfolds like a sensitive x-ray of our strengths and our vulnerabilities, our impulses toward solidarity as well as our shadowed places. Through choreography and poetic fragments, the piece explores our mortality and gently celebrates this bone marrow we call our humanity.
